Let me tell you about….

Johanna sitting on a stool, facing slightly towards the left, smiling relaxed at the camera.
  • I'm lucky to have lived in a variety of places. Although I am German, I spent 10 years in China and several years in Switzerland, Turkey, and Spain.

As a rolling stone, wherever I lay my hat is my home. And now, it's in Switzerland!

  • Activities with friends and practising my weaker languages with strangers are a large part of my human interactions.

Reading, sports and treating myself to an out-of-home coffee are the daily components of my solitary entertainment.

2024’s challenge... 28 books! I made it to 42 through a diverse set of genres. I guess it’s time to set the bar higher for 2025.

  • Connecting people who I know will get along so well and get excited by each other's knowledge and passion.

Getting into the nitty-gritty of understanding the world and addressing big worldly questions (permeable concrete, irrigation and water preservation, plastic vs glass, supranational institutions vs grassroots engagement).

The prospect of finally learning to play the drums!

Where I studied

I went to school in each of the countries I lived in. This equipped me with a truly international background and a love for intercultural living.

Recently, I graduated from IE University in Madrid, Spain with a dual degree in Business Administration and International Relations.

IE University is ranked #1 in the world for its Global MBA, is a world top-20 Business School, and consistently drives innovation through its vertical campus, Venture Day, and many other initiatives.
